Deloitte have completed a report into the governance of the OCI. Expect the report to concentrate on the constitution of the OCI, an unusual document particularly when it comes to the president, his voting rights and his election. It surely cannot survive in its current format. It will have to be changed by EGM/AGM as voted by the members. That will have to be instigated by the board of the OCI. The real test for the board is how they react to the Deloitte report. Expect the Deloitte report not to pull any punches.
The OCI appointed Deloitte in September to conduct an independent review of how the organisation was managed. Now a spokesperson for the body has confirmed that its work has concluded. "A draft report has been received by the OCI from Deloitte. It will be examined by the Executive Board at their next meeting on Thursday."
