We hope you are well and enjoying some of the lovely Autumn sunshine! After the Summer period we've been busy over the last weeks at Leman Solicitors working on a number of new initiatives across the firm. We'll be updating our website to include some of our new services soon, so keep an eye on what's to come.

Next Thursday 24th September sees LexTech host the annual Future of Law & Technology event "Digital Legal Day". The theme for this year brings practical digital solutions in commercial, property and litigation practice areas to big business and the legal community, with prolific global innovators and renowned speakers in law and technology. This is a free CPD event and you can register here to attend.

We concluded this year's Leman Challenge volunteering activities, where our staff visited FoodCloud, joined by staff from Crowe, during August and September. FoodCloud utilise unwanted or excess food ensuring it is used to feed people in need across communities. Teams from Leman helped prepare food parcels and sorted through some messy manual work! For more information about FoodCloud see here.

This year’s Legal Island Annual Review of Employment Law conference takes place online on Wed 25th & Thurs 26th November. Our Head of Employment Blathnaid Evans will speak at this event covering a variety of employment topics and speakers line up. To view the programme and book click here.

We also welcomed six new starters recently to the Leman team, see our team page here for more on our new recruits! We hope you enjoy this week's articles below, including some recent updates from our Employment, Litigation and Corporate teams.
