Maria is an Associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution team in Leman Solicitors and she is qualified to practice in Ireland, England and Wales. Maria has experience in the prosecution and defence of proceedings at all levels of the Irish Court system. She also has experience in alternative methods of dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration. Maria is a CEDR Accredited Mediator. Maria is a graduate of the University of Limerick where she completed a LLB in Law and European Studies. She has also received a LLM in Commercial Law from the University of Edinburgh. Prior to joining Leman Solicitors, Maria worked for two years in the Central Bank of Ireland in a support role to the Acting Chief Executive of the Financial Regulator and the Assistant Director General of Financial Operations.
